Technical Product Development Manager
PROJECT RELATED COMPETENCIES
Solution Development and Delivery
This challenging position offers an experienced Technical Product Development Manager an opportunity to make major contributions for our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all aspects of the product life cycle for Continuity Logic’s products and managing product releases. Reporting to the VP of Client Services and Implementations you will be an important member of the management team and will be a key thought leader for all of Continuity Logic’s product development. You will be responsible for managing and continuing to build a dynamic software development organization, both in the US and offshore. It is expected that the role will have extensive customer interface to ensure product development is aligned with customer needs. You will have a number of direct reports with all associated administrative management responsibilities.
• Manages the software development lifecycle for Continuity Logic products
• Provides technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration for client engagement from definition phase through implementation
• Manage and execute successful software releases to both our SaaS and On-Premise implementations
• Applies significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our clients
• Reviews work of development teams
• Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
Technical Effort Management
• Creates and executes development plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Keeps project manager well informed of status of development effort and serves as liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Ensures technical teams are contributing to our code library.
• Owns the development lifecycle and is responsible for managing technical risks throughout the project.
• Communicates and enforces coding standards
• Performs code reviews and mentors junior resources.
• Manages technical resources within budget and project schedule.
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

Technical Expertise
• Minimum of 10 years of software product development experience
• Minimum 5+ years of management experience
• Experience building software for multi-tenant SaaS environment
• Proven experience with Agile methods
• Extensive in depth understanding of and experience with .NET, SQLServer, and SharePoint 2007/2010 development and technologies
• Understands complex database concepts and effectively employs different database design techniques.
• Possesses demonstrated work experience with more than one relational database management system.
