The bar has just been raised: supply chain management and organisational resilience are now inextricably intertwined. As of 5 December the UK’s Prudential Regulation Authority (part of the Bank of England) published a consultation paper on Outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management. In this it set out its proposals for “modernising the regulatory framework on outsourcing and third-party risk management”. The proposals are extensive and their influence will be felt far and wide.
